When Will Chainlink (LINK) Go To Our Forecasted Price Of $100?

The pre-requisites for LINK to move to $100: get past the $16.91 level in 2024, and clear ATH at $52.70.

Today, we’re still bullish on Link, once the $16.91 price point is broken through. It’s been in an established consolidation zone for over 80 days and is currently testing the top. The low and high points have been tested on numerous occasions. The Chainlink (LINK) price is likely to go to $100 in 2025. 

The majority of professional analysts are bullish on Chainlink

The view on Chainlink (LINK) price to $100 from professional, informed traders is mainly uniform. This is due to the long consolidation in the charts, with specific tests of both the high and low. It’s perfectly poised for a breakout if the $16.91 figure is breached. It also has strong fundamentals in terms of its sector (oracles, big data) and on-chain metrics. 

Plus, the LINK price forecast to $100 loosely corresponds to Ethereum’s prediction to $10,000, both being roughly a 5x increase. AltcoinSherpa on X has a positive but less bullish view on LINK, indicating that the returns seen might not be substantial, given LINK’s market cap. Often smaller cap coins can deliver better ROI potential. 

These views can be contrasted to typical conversations on social media about the price of LINK exploding to $1,000, which are based on sentiment and not data. There is no real information to suggest that LINK will get to $1,000, or even $250. A $100 price, however, is possible with time, a breakout, and support for the wider market and the specific industry. 

Our take on Chainlink (LINK) price to $100

The 80+ day horizontal range is part of a much wider 18-month consolidation range when you zoom out. This wider view is more relevant as it can lead to a more sustained breakout. We think that once the $16.91 figure is broken through, $22.6, $29.9, and $54.0 will be tested. As per the daily chart.  

The weekly chart below signifies an ABCD pattern (AB 2019-2021, BC 2021-2023, CD 2024-2026). It’s important to point out that after the breakout, $16.91 is likely to be rested in 2024. In other words, it’s not simply going to shoot to $100 in a straight line. 

While this might seem obvious, new investors can sometimes expect to make ‘straight-line’ returns without adjusting to the market and without specific entry/exit positions.  

Another point worth mentioning is the invalidation criteria. In this instance, LINK below $12 would invalidate the forecast. However, the possibility of this happening is tiny in our view. The market as a whole is currently bullish, the segment is up and coming, and the coin is nearing the top of the horizontal trading zone, not the bottom. 

Chainlink (LINK) price to $100? Quite possible

The IH analyst team believes that LINK can reach $100 by late 2025 or early 2026. It has been trading in an established zone between $13 – $16.91 for over 80 days. It’s in a good segment/sector (oracles, data) which we are very bullish on. And 2024 is set to be a great year for altcoins.
