• On the other hand, it plays on the emotion of the investor.

That said, when exactly will XRP be ‘truly‘ explosive?

XRP price explosive?

Yes and no.

Let’s face it, XRP went from $0.50 (November) to $2.88 (today), a price rise of nearly 700%. In the last 48 hours, XRP went from $2.38 to $2.88.

XRP price explosive? Not now, but two months ago. During summer, we wrote Could XRP Be ‘The Next Solana’ (in August 2024, when XRP was trading at $0.50).

That said, in order to understand the ‘XRP price explosive’ concept, we need to take a big picture view. Below is the weekly XRP chart, it’s the only timeframe that matters.

What’s clear from this chart is that XRP is bouncing between support and resistance: support at $1.81 and resistance at $2.77, arguably $3.32.

This really sums it up – the only scenario in which XRP price explosive truly applies is once $3.32 is cleared, not intraday but on a 5-day or even 8-day closing basis.

What matters is chart structure analysis as opposed to ‘XRP price explosive‘ analysis.

What’s clear from the XRP chart shown above is the long term secular reversal.

• Right now, this reversal is bullish.
• It will remain bullish for as long as the $1.44 to $1.81 area is respected.
• It will turn explosive once $3.31 is cleared on an 8-day closing basis.

This helps create structure in the chaos.

It is so tempting to turn into X with $XRP posts that are so short term oriented, playing on emotions of readers. It is so easy to get lost into the noise.

The one and only timeframe that matters is the weekly XRP timeframe, unfortunately there is no excitement that you create with weekly timeframe, certainly not every over and over again.

The true excitement is created by buying low and selling high. This involves two transactions, and the second one creates the excitement, if executed properly.

To XRP or not to XRP?

It depends – it is certainly late to enter into XRP when it’s trading right below ATH.
