While 99.99% of analysts are focused on price we analyze both time and price. As said in Another Bitcoin Prediction: The Next Date To Watch Is April 5th we expect Tuesday April 5th to deliver crucial information.

The next key date to watch is April 5th. Whatever BTC is going to do on that day, in terms of price, will inform price direction and will increase our confidence in a price forecast.
We expect one of the following 2 outcomes:
- Either BTC confirms a lower high in which case BTC will fall below 43k (the price level from which the big decline mid-January started). In this scenario, BTC will be challenged to respect the 41-42k area as an absolutely crucial support level.
- Or BTC clears 48k.
Forecasting is not about guessing what’s going to happen in a given market. The point about forecasting is that you use the few really important data points that truly matter. In the end, it is less than 1% of the information on a chart that is meaningful as explained in our 1/99 Investing Principles.
In the latter scenario we see BTC easily moving to 59k where we believe it will hit too much resistance, for now at least. Ultimately, we see BTC clear ATH. It might not happen in April or in May, but ultimately it will happen. The only question is when exactly.
