Platinum: Our Most Recent Articles with Forecasts and Insightful Charts

Below are our latest articles about platinum that are written by InvestingHaven’s research team articles.

InvestingHaven’s research team has a very sharp eye for chart analysis in the precious metals space. One of the most challenging characteristics of precious metals investing is the seduction to fall in love with precious metals. That’s why chart analysis is so important: it is the antidote to emotions.

Note that we believe There Is Always A Bull Market In One Of The 4 Precious Metals. So it pays off to look at platinum in conjunction with the other 3 precious metals: gold, silver, palladium.

If we carefully look at the long term platinum price evolution it becomes clear that platinum has no leading indicators. As explained in great detail in our Platinum Price Forecast for 2019 platinum is one of the few assets without a consistent leading indicator.

So the only thing we can rely on to forecast a future platinum price is its chart, first and foremost dominant chart patterns and price trends.

With the absence of any leading indicator for platinum’s price it is really challenging to accurately forecast the platinum price.

In our platinum price forecast (link above) we identified 2 patterns on the long term chart of platinum. Both, interestingly, lead to the same conclusion.

Platinum will only turn bullish in the medium term if it crosses $900 /oz. In that scenario it will attempt to rise to resistance of its long term bear market which started in 2008.

Only if platinum breaks out of its long term bear market channel will it turn into a secular platinum bull market. The pre-requisite for this is that it crosses $1190 in a convincing way. This is certainly not going to happen in 2019, it may happen in 2020 or beyond!

Below are our own handcrafted and breathtaking platinum price articles. The charts are made by our own team, we spend a lot of time analyzing patterns and trends. All our articles are meaningful, and actionable, they reveal relevant insights for forecasting future price trends in commodities and especially on platinum’s price chart.
