Ripple (XRP) is arguably the most resilient of the top 10 cryptos, seeing that its blockchain network thrived in the midst of an extended legal battle with the SEC.
This and its hugely promising future have analysts convinced it has a very low risk of ever going to zero and all the reasons to rally by 200%+ and break above $5 before year-end.

1. Analysts are optimistic about the outcome of the XRP SEC case
Ripple already had a ‘partial’ victory against the crypto-stifling Gensler SEC. Today, we have a more welcoming crypto regulator – right from the presidency, the White House, and the new head of the SEC.
Plus unlike in the past where the likes of Coinbase had to sue Gensler to get clear crypto regulation policies, the current regime has already established a dedicated task force to set a clear regulatory framework for coins and the industry.

A spot Ripple ETF has already been approved in Brazil. Elsewhere, most regulators are likely waiting for the SEC case to come to a favourable conclusion.
Even here in the States, bettors have a 75% degree of confidence that XRP ETF will be approved in the US before the end of the year. More recently, President Trump named XRP as one of the assets he would like to make up the US Strategic Crypto Reserve.
3. Upcoming on-chain upgrades are about to make XRP even more competitive
In 2024, Ripple launched an AMM giving the likes of Solana a run for their money. This year, it is set to integrate several key upgrades to its network that should help it become even more competitive.
These include introducing a lending protocol, an EVM side chain compatible with Ethereum, Permissioned DEX and Permissioned Domain features, and improved programmability that involves the launch of Extensions, which will allow developers to add new code to existing smart contracts.
4. Retail FOMO Ahead of the Anticipated Bull Market
Less than a month after Trump’s election, XRP whales and retail investors went on a buying spree – acquiring $1.6 Billion worth of the top altcoin. The FOMO continued after Gensler’s resignation with 200,000 new addresses acquiring XRP.
While this FOMO took a pause in February, it is expected to pick up pace again as soon as the markets stabilize.

Ripple is largely considered grossly undervalued and is the only top 10 crypto that hasn’t hit a new all-time high since 2018. But the only barrier to its breakout – the not-so-crypto-friendly SEC led by Gensler has exited and paved the way for a much more friendly leadership.
