Our Bitcoin price forecast for 2020 might seem far away, but as we all know Bitcoin can move up 3 to 5 fold in a matter of 3 months. That’s exactly what we expect in the next cycle. However, the current cycle is about positioning (y)ourselves correctly with well defined entry points. We are convinced our Bitcoin forecast will materialize, and will be another one of our forecasts that will come true in 2020.
Bitcoin is flatter than flat, really.
No excitment in Bitcoin, but given that we consider BTC to be the leading indicator for crypto markets what does this suggest for the rest of cryptocurrencies?
We believe it is very simple:
- IF BTC will sell off in the next 4 to 8 weeks, it will offer a great entry point. Moreover, top cryptocurrencies should be bought with 2 hands!
- IF BTC does not sell off, and remains flat or moves steadily higher, it would be very bullish for top altcoins.
This is what we wrote to our premium crypto members earlier this week:
There is something unusual happening in crypto markets: some altcoins start moving higher, one by one, without waiting for BTC to lead the way higher. Never happened before, impossible to reasonably predict this, but we are there to observe and adjust our guidance in real time.
So this may mean that the current cycle is about the altcoins, and they are able to move provided that BTC remains flat. Watch out below though, once BTC suddenly dips there will be violent though short lived sell offs which will lead to panic (again, as always) and shake people out their positions.
This means the current cycle will definitely offer opportunities, the question is when and which.
The other question is: which coins exactly to choose, and which ones can we wait with?
